Our mission

Seastainable Supply’s goal is to raise the standard of aquarium-keeping through stewardship, equity, and ecology; to bring a higher quality of life to aquatic organisms and their owners alike; and to promote the advancement of superior quality through better husbandry.

Seastainable Supply offers a full line of wholesale freshwater fish, saltwater fish, corals, invertebrates, and high-end captive bred fish. Led by a team of industry professionals and scientists with more than 50 years of collective experience, Seastainable Supply seeks to bring expertise and equity to the aquatic livestock industry, while supporting independent stores and markets around the world.

Our facility

We have brought together a team of domestic and international custom aquarium designers, engineers, mechanical specialists, biologists, and ergonomic experts to design a state-of-the-art facility that increases efficiency and maximizes the customer experience. With more than a year spent in planning and construction, we boast one of the best designed facilities in the U.S. Having invested heavily in the most modern and effective life support systems, we are maximizing water quality and reducing disease transmission.

Our husbandry team are each trained and degreed biologists with experience in field research and animal husbandry.

Husbandry Manager

Cole Judkins

As husbandry manager, Cole leads our team of aquatic life specialists. Cole holds dual bachelor’s degrees and has experience breeding several species of marine ornamental fish and invertebrates. Cole developed his passion for aquatics at Roger WIlliams University, at their Marine Ornamental Aquaculture Lab. Cole has hands on experience with the principles of hatchery management, Aquarium System Design and Life support systems. In his free time, he is a massive soccer fan as well as enjoying a good theater performance.

National Sales Manager

Zach Franck

Zach's professional journey in the aquatics industry spans more than 20 years. Zach brings a scientific-based approach to his aquatic hobby, which was garnered through his studies in Veterinary Sciences at the University of Arizona. Zach is well known and well liked across the entirety of the pet industry. His professional pet industry experience ranges from owning and operating aquatics stores to working for large aquatics manufacturers to managing several of the largest pet-related tradeshows in the USA. Zach's lifelong passion for animals, his industry knowledge, and his extensive experience in the aquatics industry, makes him an indispensable asset to the Seastainable Supply team.

Husbandry Specialist

Luke Kosacz

Luke holds a degree in Animal Ecology and Spanish Anthropology. He has been a Raptor trainer, peer mentor and has experience in zoological nutrition. Luke worked at Brookfield Zoo and Racine Zoo where he learned the fundamentals of animal husbandry and went on to work in animal behavior and training.

Luke has been fortunate enough to work with all kinds of different animals including lions, giraffes, painted dogs, dwarf mongooses, rhinos, and more. He loves all animals and takes an anthropological approach to learning about the different ways they have learned to survive! This has made him a unique asset knowing not the how but why of husbandry.
